CRAFTSMANSHIP

We work with a select edit of hand-picked designers, to ensure that you receive work that is not only beautiful, but incredibly well made. All of our fine jewellery pieces are made to last; our designers work in gold and gemstones not only for their beauty but for their longevity.

 

RESIZING

If you purchase a ring and it requires resizing, we offer one free resize. Please contact us within 14 days of purchase to arrange your resize.
If the ring is a style that is not able to be resized (ie an eternity ring) a new size can be made to order for you. All made to order items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, so if you are ordering a made to order ring and you are unsure of ring size, please contact us to discuss resizing options ahead of purchase.

 

OUR PROMISE

Our pieces are designed to be worn and enjoyed, but as with all fine jewellery they should be treated with care. We thoroughly check over all pieces prior to shipping, to ensure their quality and craftsmanship.

So that you can buy with confidence, we are proud to provide a one-year warranty on all of our jewellery from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty covers general, normal jewellery wear / any structural faults that may arise during this period. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from neglect, misuse, loss or theft of your URSA purchase. To ensure you keep your jewellery looking its best and to protect against damage, we ask all of our clients to read through our Jewellery Care guide below. 

Beyond the warranty period we will quote for any repairs on a case-by-case basis.

  

STONE SETTINGS

As with all fine jewellery, stone settings should be checked occasionally. Utmost care has been taken to set stones securely however URSA is not responsible for the loss of stones after purchase. We recommend that you after purchase your bespoke piece, that you attain suitable insurance cover to protect against any loss or accidental damage.

We recommend the following care advice to ensure you can feel confident wearing and taking care of your jewellery.

 

JEWELLERY CARE

The majority of our fine jewellery is designed for everyday wear.

Diamonds, sapphires and rubies are hard gemstones which do not scratch easily with wear. To keep in good condition, clean regularly with a soft child's toothbrush, liquid soap and warm water.

Every fine jewellery purchase arrives with a Town Talk jewellery polishing cloth. Use the polishing cloth to shine up your jewellery, to keep it looking bright.

Certain pieces in our collections consist of softer materials such as pearls and other gemstones (tourmalines, amethyst, citrine, turquoise) that require extra care. Clean occasionally, for the stones use a soft toothbrush with liquid soap. Please be careful when cleaning pearls as cleaning agents can destroy their lustre.

 

KEEP THEM PERFECT

— Remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities, such as cycling or lifting heavy items. This will ensure that your jewellery does not get accidentally damaged.

— Beauty products can react with precious stones and metals. Please put your jewellery on last, after applying and cosmetics, scents and sprays.

ENGRAVING

We offer an engraving service for any piece of jewellery that has been purchased through URSA. Please contact us for pricing, fonts and lead times.
